Dear Friends!
We do our best so that our Conservatory would be the modern higher educational institution in all perspectives. To achieve this, the following projects were launched and successfully function: an educational program “Raising Stars,” a Festival of modern academic music “Nauryz – 21,” an experimental project “The Strategy of the Development of Music Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” an experimental Arts School, and many other significant projects. The Conservatory acts as the organizer of a great number of performing contests and scientific events. The Fourth International Contest of Pianists, which will be held in December of 2008, would be the most important events of such kind.
We have established creative relations with many international higher educational institutions and concert organizations. Our five-year long close cooperation with Higher Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance is one of such examples. Famous musicians and professors from Russia, France, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Korea, USA and other countries visit us on regular basis and arrange master classes, concerts, and hold lectures.
Concert groups of the Conservatory perform not only in Kazakhstan, but also overseas. The Students Symphony Orchestra with a great success performed in Germany, Great Britain, and Italy. The Orchestra of Folk Music successfully performed in China.
The university radio “Classics” started its programming, the recording studio and publishing house were opened in the period of 2006-2007 at the Conservatory. The new TV center will be purchased in 2008. All of these are the elements of the educational basis for new majors such as Art Management which is new for the Conservatory.
To find persons having identical ideas, enthusiasts and fans of academic art, and to support the talented youth promoting our common professional ideals would be the main goals for Conservatory!
